On behalf of the Lewis Mason Thurston Area Agency on Aging I would like to say thank you to our community. This year our Wish List clientele was successfully and abundantly provided for yet again. People came through with things like typewriters, writing materials, pet supplies, vacuum cleaners and so much more.
We had donors that were just happy to help share the cheer with others who had less. Often times the holiday season focuses on the children, but our Wish List helps those that would not otherwise have anything extra due to financial and physical limitations.
Some clients came near to tears over the gifts they received. One stated, “I’m overwhelmed and delighted by the kind, thoughtful, generous abundance of goodness bestowed on me. Everything that was provided is most surely beneficial to me and will bring much comfort.”
“Thank you” is such a small thing to say in the face of such generosity.
