What is the problem with immigration? The problem is all those people are trying to enter the country illegally, as opposed to legal immigration protocols.
They know they are doing something that is illegal; that is the very reason they brought their children. Some may be fleeing violence in their country. All of them? I don’t think so. They are playing you like a fiddle. America has always welcomed legal immigration. Please don’t confuse what is going on at the border with legal immigration.
There are thousands of homeless people in America. Cities can’t handle the existing homeless problem. What makes anyone think adding 900,000 immigrants, who are homeless, since 2012 will help or fix the problem?
One letter said we invite them here to do the jobs Americans don’t want. Don’t you really mean that they accept sub-poverty level wages and displace the resident workforce, so you can feel like you are being a humanitarian? It seems that none of you realize it is against the law to hire an illegal alien.
What other laws are you willing to ignore? All of you overly compassionate people have no solution for how cities will handle the needs of the extra people that are here illegally. If you support illegal immigration you should put a tent in your backyard, go down to the border, pick up some families that are trying to enter the country illegally, and let them sleep in your backyard.
Make sure you buy enough groceries for everybody, put them on your insurance and buy their kid a backpack for school. What? You are not willing to do that? Who do you think should take care of all those needs? American taxpayers? President Donald Trump did not change the law, he is just enforcing it.
President Barack Obama compounded the problem by ignoring the law for eight years. Yes, they are children like yours. When you say we are going to the doctor or dentist they have no choice, they go. The difference is you don’t take your child on a trip to engage in illegal activity.
If you break the law you may go to jail, your children will be taken from you, and they are going to cry. Load up your family, travel to the border of another country, demand entry, expect housing, expect a job, and expect that country to support your every need.
Illegal immigrants register to vote and impact our elections more than the invisible Russia connection. How sad that a president who wants to improve our border security and tries to prevent terrorist attacks on America by limiting questionable refugees from countries run by terrorists is viewed as a racist.
The security of our borders is not racism. I would like to hear your solution to the homeless and immigration problem, not just grandiose emotional accusations. I know Democrats’ solution to everything — blame the president.
