Letter: Person of the Year Donna Karvia’s Volunteer Efforts Amazing

Posted

I worked with Donna Karvia for many years when I was with the Lewis County Sheriff's Office and she was working for Judge Goble. She was a mentor to me. She never found any wrong in any person, always looking at the positive side to all situations.

Over the years I always enjoyed seeing Donna, shaking my head in wonder at her indefatigable and unselfish work for the community. She still amazes me in her recent efforts for Human Response Network. I am humbled by her.

The years went by and we came together again while I was living in Tumwater, and later when I came back to Lewis County — she saved me! I will always be in her debt. Thank you Donna. I love you.
