Letter: Is It Just Me, or Are Drivers Getting Worse?

Posted

I wanted to mention about how bad drivers have gotten around here. I’ve driven all my life, on motorcycles for decades, all year round, ice and all, with no accidents. However, it seems to me that the driving hazard is more than ever.

I can’t drive a country road with little traffic without someone speeding, on my behind and being careless and rude. I don’t even like driving anymore because of such lawlessness and attitudes. You can tell the differences between the 1960s and now.

Then it was the peace sign — now it’s the middle finger.

Also, those super loud car speakers can cause someone to be distracted and more. Why can’t you all grow up and care a little?

I’m sick of it. Nothing against good drivers.
