Eric Duerst recently wrote a letter to the editor saying that Jim Fluckinger was running for position 2 on the Toledo City council.
That is not true. Mr. Fluckinger is running as a write-in candidate for position 1 against Mr. Duerst.
So please make sure that you vote for the right person for position 1.

The Chronicle will be giving priority to election-related letters between now and the general election on Nov. 7. Letters that do not follow the rules outlined below will not be considered for publication.
