Letter: Bailey Has the Enthusiasm, Intellect and Leadership Skills to Lead in 20th District

Posted

I am enthusiastically supporting Brennan Bailey in his candidacy for state representative, 20th District.

At just 28, Bailey, a fifth-generation area resident, has proven himself as a true community leader who can work effectively with people of all backgrounds.

Bailey has regularly raised money for local charitable causes. This included a 500-mile walk from Orek, California, to Chehalis, to raise money for educational scholarships.

By the age of 19, Bailey owned his own real estate company. He is currently a member of the Chehalis School Board, first elected at the age of 20, serving two terms as chairman. He returned to college to become an educator, obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University. He has been an elementary teacher in both the Longview and Toledo school districts. Bailey is working on a doctoral degree at Capella University. He will soon complete his master’s degree in education policy from Harvard University and will return to elementary teaching at Toledo.

Brennan Bailey has the enthusiasm, intellect and leadership skills to bring badly needed bipartisan representation to our district.
