Virginia “Ginny” Elaine (Reynolds) Shultz passed away peacefully at Hawthorn Place Adult Family Home in Tumwater, Wash., May 31, 2019. She was born in Bucoda, March 5, 1929, to George and Rosa Reynolds.

A native of the Skookumchuck Valley, Ginny lived on the family farm for 56 years, before retiring from farm life and moving to Tenino. She is best remembered by the community for her long tenure as a school bus driver and 45 year membership in the Veterans of Foreign War and Eagles organizations. A fan of gardening and sports, she could often be found in summer months tending to her sweet peas and nasturtiums or listening to a Mariners game.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Brown; children, Donald Shultz, Lyla Grayson (Richard) and Dawna Donohue (Paul); grandchildren, Angela Davis (Dan), Bonnie Herron (Jeremy), Annie Shultz and Kalyn Brady (Michael); great-grandchildren, Zachary Vassar, Grace Vassar, Silas Shultz, Harrington Brady and Emerson Brady; and longtime friend, Bridgett Dowies.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Mills and Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice.
