Thomas A. Ocken passed away unexpectedly Jan. 22, 2016, in Centralia, Wash. He was born March 16, 1955, in Hillsboro, Ore., to Dale and Esther Ocken.
He was a calm and gentle soul, hardworking and an amazing cook. Thomas will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by his brothers, David Ocken and Timothy Ocken; niece, Erica (Adam) Boehm; nephews, Matthew (Karla) Wichert and Zachary Wichert; great-newphews, Kasen and Jensen; and great-niece, Harper Rose.
Thomas is reunited in heaven with parents, Esther and Dale Ocken; sister, Rosemary Wichert; and numerous other family members.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 379 WA-505, Winlock, Wash., with a reception to follow.
