Roy Daniel "Danny" Stewart, 53, of Centralia, Wash., passed away on Nov. 15, 2012, he is now at peace after battling a long illness. He was born on March 30, 1959 to Roy and Joyce Stewart in Roseberg, Ore.

Danny loved to read the newspaper each morning and keep up with the goings-on of the world. He has always wanted to travel working as a chef on a cruise ship, he had a rewarding career as a chef at several locations in Lewis County, most recently at the Norwestern. Though his life did not take him around the world, he found the most important job was raising a family and cherishing every moment spent with his two daughters, Danyelle and Kari. He was so proud of the amazing women his girls have become.

Danny was a genuine man, he was always kind and very thoughtful. He loved his family and his family dearly loved him. He will live on in their hearts forever.

Danny is survived by his loving wife, Eva Jean Stewart, beautiful daughters, Danyelle Stiller and Kari Keatley, grandchildren, Sawyer, Silas, Chailee, Tyson and Owen, treasured mother, Joyce Stewart, cherished father, Roy Stewart, mother-in-law, Claudia Helland, father-in-law, Colin Hodge (Gail Roan), brother, Kevin, brother-in-law, Daniel Hodge, sisters, Donna Nisbet, Tami Page and Joy Stewart, sister-in-law, Lynn Richard (Les), best friend, Bobby Alore, and two sweet dogs, Buddy and Angel.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at the Bucoda Assembly of God Church, 102 Main N., Bucoda, WA 98530.
