Rena Brvant flew with the angels Oct. 22, 2018. She was born in Seymour, Miss., but lived in Washington and had a home in Pe Ell for over 60 years.

Rena was the mother to ten children, Bill (Louise), Wilma (Henry) Drevniak, Jimmy (Jeannie), Doyle (Carol), Jerry (Faye), Lyle, Tommie (Penny), David (Cathy) Danny and Joyce (Steve) Prior. She was a loving grandmother to 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren. She loved each and every one equally and took so much pride in her family. Rena made baby quilts by hand and most of the grandbabies have a momento to cherish.

Rena was preceded in death by her husband, James, they were married for almost 37 years; sons, Billie and Danny; and her grandchildren, Tom, Troy, Sheila and Janice.

She loved to garden and be a homemaker. Rena was an excellent cook and taught her daughters and granddaughters the joy of making pies, cookies and other dishes shared by all. She worked for the Pe Ell schools in the kitchen where she was known as Mrs. Brvant, but also as grandma to many children who went to school there. Rena also traveled to various locations in the United States but was also blessed to have made it to the Holy Land as well.

Services will be held at Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, with graveside services to follow at 12:30 p.m., at the Menlo Cemetary.
