Norman Lynn Koepke

Norman Lynn Koepke was born June 18, 1935, in Jordan, Mont., to Otto and Elsie Koepke. He passed away Sept. 25, 2019, in Centralia, Wash. Early in his childhood, his family moved to Chehalis.

After graduating from W. F. West High School, Norman joined the United States Air Force and served for four years. He married Bonnie Norberg in 1956, and they were together for 50 years until her passing. They had two children, Dennis and Linda.

Norm and Bonnie moved to Toledo in 1960. He was a volunteer firemen, fire commissioner and served on the city council. Norman was also a member of the Lion’s Club, worked at the food bank and was active at the senior center.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Oct. 12, 2019, at the Toledo Senior Center.
