In 1967, Nora married the love of her life, Leea Johnson, of Tenino, Wash. They shared 35 years of marriage until his passing in August of 2002.

Nora is survived by her daughters, Anna and Virginia; sisters, June of Centralia and Artia of Kentucky; brothers, Ray of Vancouver, and James of Rochester; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-children and several step-grandchildren.
