Monte Scott McLaughlin passed away Dec. 9, 2016, at home with his wife and two daughters by his side.
Scott and Krisann Kanouse McLaughlin were married for 37 years. Together, they had two daughters, Amber McLaughlin Compton and Kayleen Kanouse Fisher; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Paul McLaughlin; mom, Jessi McLaughlin; stepdad, Al Bigfoot McLaughlin; and Dave McLaughlin of Alaska.
Scott is survived by brothers, Paul McLaughlin of Lummi Island and Pat McLaughlin of South Bend, Ind.; sisters, Lynda McLaughlin of Longview, Cheryl Hinton of Olympia, Sarah McLaughlin of Bellingham, and Donna McKinnis of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at 1 p.m., at the Trinity Rebekah Lodge, Napavine, Wash.
