Martha “Mady” Fitzpatrick was born May 2, 1929, in Elmhurst, Ill., to Bernhard and Louise Hagen. She passed away June 6, 2019, at Caring Angels Assisted Living in Wittmann, Ariz.
Mady moved to Washington State in 1955, and to Winlock in 1971, where she worked at the Lewis County Advocate for 10 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Morris of Renton, Wash.; son, Stuart MacKenzie of Winlock, Wash.; four grandchildren, Jena, Jamaica, Jordan and Tavis; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Lillian Payton of Northridge, Calif.; and beloved companion of 13 years, Joe Anderson from Winlock. Mady will be missed.
