Marguerite “Peg” Solomon was born to Franklin Harrison Gregg and Marie Blanche Reynaud July 6, 1931. She passed away peacefully Dec. 30, 2018, at the age of 87.

Marguerite graduated in 1949, from Centralia High School. She enjoyed monthly luncheons and yearly classroom reunions her whole life. She loved traveling and playing bridge and pinochle with her classmates. They were very blessed with their lifetime friendships and love for each other. Marguerite married Aram (George) Solomon Jan. 6, 1952. They built and ran many businesses together and had four children. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife.

Marguerite made many happy memories with her four children; sons-in-law; six grandchildren, Nicole, Kris, Jennifer, James, Janell and Andrew; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Through the years, no matter the occasion, event or sport, and often traveling great distances, she was always somewhere cheering them on. A very proud and constant parent and grandparent, she loved all of them deeply and they all deeply loved her back.

Peg loved a good game of football and her family really enjoyed watching the games with her. Her excitement and overall knowledge of the game, and sports in general, was incredible. She and her husband were Husky fans and ticket holders for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Aram (George) Solomon; and her son, George “Gregg” Solomon.

Marguerite is survived by her daughters, Kimberlee (Steve) Booth, Krista (Mike) Sommer and Susan (Dennis) Murry; as well as her grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
