Leslie Carroll Auman passed away at home Jan. 31, 2020, surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. He was born Aug. 31, 1953, in Blue Lake, Calif., to Otis and Carolyn Auman. His family moved to Glenoma, Wash.,  where he attended grade school in Kosmo  and graduated from Mossyrock High School.  

Les is survived by his wife of 29 years, Janis; stepfather, Harold; sister, Vera Stewart; children, Michael Auman, Heith Auman, Seth Auman, Caytee Cline, Ashlee Klumper and Lindsay Koreski; as well as many grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and oldest son, Leslie Auman.

After high school, Les went to work for Weyerhaeuser where he retired after 42 years in 2015. He worked in many areas from the logging crew, to loading ships in the Port of Longview. Les was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed sharing bible based information with others. He passed away looking forward to the bible’s promise of the resurrection.

A memorial service for Leslie Auman will be held at 2 p.m, Feb. 8, 2020, at the Napavine Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 217 Harmon Rd., Chehalis  WA 98532.
