Juanita McCash

Our beloved mother, grandmother, friend and house wife, Juanita McCash, 92, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at Providence Centralia Hospital. She was born Aug. 31, 1926, to Bill "WB" and Juanita Ludwig of Toledo, Wash.

Juanita graduated from Toledo High School in 1944, and grew up in Toledo, Wash., before moving to Silver Creek. She was a resident of Silver Creek, Wash., for over 65 years and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. 

Juanita loved to entertain and cook great meals for her family and friends. When you went to her house, the first thing she would say is, "Do you want a drink and somehing to eat?" If you said no, she would say, "What's wrong with you!?" She loved baking a birthday cake every year for her good friend and neighbor, James Wedam. Juanita was very thoughful to her family and friends when they had someone pass in their family. She would always prepare a nice dish for them. 

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Chuck McCash; parents, Bill "WB" and Juanita Ludwig; and two daughters, Denise McCash and Judy Workman.

She is survived by her three sons, John Littlefield of Longview, Wash., Jim Littlefield of Austin, Texas, and Buck McCash of Shelton, Wash.; grandchildren, Nicki Littlefield of Lacey, Wash., La Rae Lockhart of Tacoma, Wash., Jennifer Littlefield of Longview, Wash., Charles "CW" McCash  of Minnesota, Brad Workman of La Center, Wash., and Trena Kelly of La Center, Wash.; and great-grandchildren, TJ and Elija Lockhart.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at the Salkum Fire Hall, 2495 US-12, Salkum, WA 98582, followed by a potluck lunch
