John Joseph Hadaller

John Joseph Hadaller, 67, of Mossyrock, Wash., passed away Jan. 16, 2020, of a heart attack. He was born at St. Helen Hospital, Feb. 14,1952. His parents were his mother, Virginia Lee Eckard (Hadaller) (deceased) and father, Clarence “Jake” Joseph Hadaller (deceased).

He is survived by his son, Jacob I. Hadaller of Mossyrock; daughter, Ashley J. Hadaller of Riffe Lake Campground; sister, Beverly (Hadaller) Snow; several stepbrothers; and his life partner of 16 years, Debbie J. Reynolds of Mossyrock.

John entered the United States Air Force in 1970, after graduating from Mossyrock High school. He was honorably discharged in 1973, and went to school for real estate. John then started working in construction and became a general contractor. He married Ivy Christianson and they decided to move back to Mossyrock. They found and created Riffe Lake Campground and raised their children there. John continued to be a general contractor and be involved in the community. He built the addition on the high school, among other projects.

He also created a development on Winston Creek Road called Mayfield Cove Estates, from 2002 to 2012, with his significant other, Debbie Reynolds. John worked hard in the community and built a good reputation for providing quality work and professionalism. His colorful antics and humor will be missed.

For those who wish to honor his memory, a celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at the Mossyrock Grange, 152 Isbell Rd., Mossyrock, Wash. Food will be provided following the service.
