Jeanette Ann Spiegelberg died as she lived, preparing for her next adventure.  Jeanette was training to complete the STP (Seattle to Portland bike ride) when on Tuesday, June 17th she passed away suddenly.  Jeanette was born January 10, 1954 in Brainerd, Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Phyllis Knutson.

Jeanette lived her life fully and dedicated herself to faith, family and friends.  She enjoyed caring for, guiding and mentoring almost everyone that came into her life.  Jeanette was selfless in everything that she did and enjoyed every moment she could spend with her family, whether it was loading into the car and driving to San Diego to be with her oldest son or babysitting her youngest granddaughter Harper Jo, who lives just minutes away.

In 1997, Jeanette married Marc Spiegelberg and they joined their two families together.  Jeanette was the glue that held the family together and the driving force that guided her children into adulthood.  Jeanette worked as the Manager of the Children’s Lab School for Centralia College for over 20 years.  While simultaneously working, being a mother, wife, and life coach, Jeanette also proudly completed her Masters of Education in Curriculum Development from Lesley University on February 25, 2014. Jeanette was a member of the Centralia Community Church of God and will be dearly missed by both her work family and her church family.

Jeanette is survived by her husband Marc, five children; Jason (Jessica) Ruiz, Arla (Mike) Froehlich, Avarie Ruiz, Jarin Ruiz and Jardan Ruiz, three step-children; Peter (Jen) Spiegelberg, Keith (Jennifer) Spiegelberg and John Spiegelberg and five grandchildren, Payton, Sierra, Alex, Lane and Harper.  Jeanette is also survived by her two brothers, Gerry (Cindy) Knutson and Mark (Laura) Knutson, and numerous extended family members.

There will be a celebration of life at the Walton Science Building on the Centralia Community College Campus starting at 3pm followed by a 7pm service at the Centralia Community Church of God located at 3320 Borst Ave, Centralia, WA 98531.  Everyone that knew and loved Jeanette is encouraged to attend.
