Jack E. Lolmaugh, a Chehalis resident, passed away at Swedish Medical Center Aug. 28, 2019, at the age of 74. He was born in Dowagiac, Mich., Nov. 30, 1944, to Eugene and Helen Lolmaugh.
Jack met Shirley Dennis in Tulsa, Okla. He chased her across the country until she agreed to marry him. They were wed Aug. 24, 1973. Jack worked at Maple Lane School as a counselor, loved his family, dogs, playing pinochle, cribbage, keeping his hummingbirds well fed, working his crosswords and spending time with his friends. Jack was a devoted family man, loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; beloved wife, Shirley; and unborn son.
Jack is survived by daughters, Michelle and Andrea (Randy); and grandson, Caden Scott Guyer.
Funeral services will be held at at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis, with a reception to follow.
