Jack Clyde Chambers

Jack Clyde Chambers, 62, passed away at his home May 6, 2018, with his wife by his side. Jack was born in North Platte, Neb., the youngest of four siblings to Harold and Mattie Chambers. 

The family moved to Calif., where the settled in Mira Loma. They lived there until 1971, then moved to Centralia when Jack graduated from high school in 1972.

He worked in the logging industry for over 20 years and was a hook tender for a few different logging outfits during his career, ending with B&M Logging. Jack and his wife, Joyce (Jensen), were married in 1992. Together, they had 2 children during their 25 year marriage. 

His two favorite pasttimes were bowling and golf. He started bowling at the age of five with is older brother, Chuck. During his years of bowling, Jack had achived three 300 games, and also loved being out on the golf course with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mattie; and brother, Chuck. 

Jack is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Lauren; son, Jack; and sisters, Mary Lou Howard (Steve) and Marie Maynard (Jim).

Jack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be a celebration of life gathering at 1 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the Centralia Moose Lodge. There will also be a potluck lunch. Anyone wishing to contribute a side dish would be welcome. Cremation service was provided by Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary.
