Gary, better known to most of us as dad or papa, was a very loving and caring man.
He had a strong love for family, automobiles (particularly a 1965 Mustang Fastback), technology in general and anything that he could tinker with. Boy, did he love to tinker. Gary was a natural born engineer and had the degrees to prove it. He was always finding a more efficient way to do something, whether those around him liked it or not! Gary also served four years in the United States Air Force. While in the USAF, he worked in communications and electronics, spending most of his time in Europe.
Gary will continue to be loved and missed by many as he embarks on his new journey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Neely.
Gary is survived by eight children; and a seemingly countless number of grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life potluck will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at Mayme Shaddock Park in Napavine. Bring your favorite dishes!
