Gary Dale Dahlin, 72, passed away June 15, 2019, in Mossyrock, Wash. He was born in Chehalis, Wash., to Nat and Evelyn Dahlin, June 2, 1947.

Gary grew up in Onalaska, graduating from Onalaska High School in the class of 1966. Over the years, he was a self employed logger working over the years for Buck’s Logging, Rich Philla, Weyerhaeuser Logging and Murray. Gary was quiet, easy going and down to earth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, canning and gardening.

Gary is survived by two daughters, Lisa Magarro of Onalaska, Wash and Becky Spalding of Winlock, Wash.; grandchildren, Tyler Spalding, age 9; Jacob Spalding, age 6; mother, Evelyn Miller of Onalaska, Wash.; brother, Warren Dahlin of Chehalis; and sister, Sherry Chartrey of Olympia.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at the Salkum Fire Hall, 2490 Highway 12, Salkum, WA 98582.
