Emily Rozina Coleman

Emily Rozina Coleman passed away Nov. 3, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in 1934, to Theodore and Nora Frase who homesteaded in Shoestring Valley.

She was preceded in death by her son, Albert Cox.

Emily is survived by daughters, Carol Preston and Ellen Gleason; she was married to Otis Cox, and later, Alex Coleman; her long-time companions were Glen Garrison and Wes Earle. She was also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Emily drove school bus for 22 years and loved all of her students. She was a big supporter of high school sports and enjoyed going to the games.  She loved kids and pets and offered unquestionable love to everyone she met. Emily collected families and her circle of love was ever expanding. She had a passion for feeding everyone and demonstrated her love with bountiful meals. She had an unwavering faith and offered inspiration and joy where ever she was.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at 11 a.m., at the First Church of God in Morton. It will be followed by a reception and graveside service at Alpha Cemetery. Contributions in her name may be made to the Morton Athletics Association.
