Dorothy Lorraine (Sawyer) Pries, 94, passed away Sept. 1, 2019. She was born in Bank, N.D., June 2, 1925, to Waldo and Albertina Sawyer.
In 1946, Dorothy married Elmer Pries. Together, they built their home in Ethel, Wash., and lived there for 68 years. Dorothy and Elmer enjoyed bowling, traveling in their motorhome and testing their luck at various casinos.
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Ernest Pries of Ethel, Wash., and Eric (Carly) Pries of Onalaska, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; three sisters, Millie Hamrick, May Gregory and Beatrice Hanger; and two brothers, Ralph and Donny Sawyer.
Per Dorothy’s request, there will be no services.
