Diana Lynn Howard, 71, passed away Nov. 1, 2018. She was born Sept. 3, 1947, in Julesburg, Colo., to Richard and Charlotte Miller.
She was a proud graduate of W.F. West High School, class of 1965. In her early life, Diana had lived in various states across the United States including, Colorado, Texas, California, Alaska and more.
Later, having returned to Chehalis, she eloped with Arthur E. Howard and was married 18 years until his passing in August of 2010.
She worked for the Lewis County Auditor’s Office and the Health Department before retiring. Diana was an avid reader, often finishing multiple novels a week. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, gardening, jewelry making and spending time with her family and friends.
Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Howard; parents, Richard and Charlotte Miller; and brother, Dick Miller.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Turco and Mitch Guthrie; siblings, James Miller and Joanne Kragenbrink; seven grandchildren, Ian Howard, Patricia Howard, Noah Howard, Jack Guthrie, Will Guthrie, Paul Guthrie and Clark Guthrie.
A services will be held Nov. 26, 2018, at 1 p.m., at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, Centralia, Wash.
