Dean Randolph “Randy” Eades, passed away Oct. 4, 2014. Randy was born April 6, 1955. He came to Centralia in 1963, moving here from Chico, California with his sister Pam and their grandparents, who raised them both.

Randy graduated from Centralia High School in 1973, Centralia College in 1975 and attended Central Washington University. He was well known in this area, remembered by many as being kind and generous.

He enjoyed sports and was a big supporter of local teams. He coached Son League and Young Life Youth Basketball and was awarded the title Fan of the Year in 1997 for Centralia College basketball and is listed on the Hall of Fame Roll of Honor at the colleges Sports Hall of Fame. He loved to swim and could often be found at Thorbeckes Indoor Pool in Centralia.

 Randy worked at a few gas station/convenient stores in the area and always welcomed his customers with a smile and friendly conversation. He was also involved in Bible studies and worship at a variety of churches in the area. A memorial service will be held at Destiny Christian Center, Centralia on Nov. 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
