Darrin LeRoy “Homey” Myers, 50, of Centralia, passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, in Ontario, Calif.
He was a dedicated employee at Cascade Hardwood Group in Chehalis and enjoyed going to work each day with his work family.
Darrin lived life to the fullest every day. He was known and loved by many. His hobbies included, camping, fishing, softball, golf, blackjack and drinking Bud Light. You
would always see Darrin with a big smile, a joke and probably giving hugs to everyone he knew.
He leaves behind his wife, Leslie (Parkinson) Myers; daughters, Karleigh Roberts and Ashlynn Hunkin; son, Jake Chastain; stepdaughter, Erinlea Bailey; stepson, Drew Bailey; sister, Diana (Myers) Murdock; brother, Mike Shope; aunt, Shirley (Carter) Kelley; and his cat, Oscar Myers.
Darrin was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Vera Myers; and his niece, Leslie Olsen.
His family and friends wish to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support during this time of grief. Without you, this time would be unbearable. Darrin’s love for life shines through you.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:15 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at the Newaukum Golf Course. All
who loved him are welcome to attend.
