Daniel Lee Rasch Sr. 70, of La Grande, passed
away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at Grande Ronde Hospital. At Daniel’s request, there will be no service.
Daniel was born July 6, 1945 in Centralia,
Washington to Martin E. and Myrtle G. (Allbee)
Rasch. He was a logger until his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting, racing cars, corvettes,
having coffee with his friends at the
Red Barn and spending time with his family.
Daniel is survived by his partner, Gloria Barnes
of La Grande, Oregon; ex-wife of 27 years, Marrion
Tepponen of Centralia, Washington; sons, Gordon Geving (Laurie) of Rochester, Washington and
Daniel Rasch Jr. (Cheryl) of Bucoda, Washington; daughter, Kim Lannoye of Chehalis, Washington;
sisters, Leta Smith (Smitty) of Rochester,
Washington, Sandra Blankenship of Centralia, Washington, Sharon Wilson of North Highlands, California and Donna Woods (Jay) of Yuma, Arizona; brothers, Martin Rasch (Maria) of Winter Springs,
Florida and William Wilson (Somsong) of North Highlands, California; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin
Larson; brothers, Charles Wilson and Ricky
Wilson; and sister, Claudette Wilson.
