Charlotte Anne (Koepke) Copeland

Charlotte Anne (Koepke) Copeland, 76, passed away peacefully in Kelso, Wash., after a battle with Alzheimer's. She was one of six children from Otto and Elsie Koepke, now deceased. 

Charlotte attended Chehalis schools and graduated from Centralia College and the University of Washington. She worked as a social worker for over 30 years as a Washington employee with distinction. 

For 50 years, she attended the meetings at the Logan Hill Grange. Grange members remember Charlotte as someone who was always helpful, always pleasurable, always loving and a joy to be around. One personal joy of her's was being involved with the Ladies Society. 

Charlotte is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bill Copeland; brothers, Alan, Norman and Dale; and twin sister, Sharon (Koepke) Klump of Longview.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Erenestine. 

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at the Longview United Methodist Church, 2851 30th Ave., Longview, Wash. In lieu of flowers, please donate to any dementia research group.
