Carolyn Irene Radmaker-Kreger

Carolyn Irene Radmaker-Kreger passed away with family at her side, April 11, 2017. She was born May 1, 1951. As a baby, she lived with her parents in Anchorage, Alaska, then moved to reside in Chehalis.

Carolyn attended St. Josephs Catholic School and graduated from W. F. West High School in 1968. She became a successful business owner of two restaurants in Chehalis and worked in the food service industry. She was  a strong supporter of the Lewis County Community while she was in business and donated generously to various organizations. Carolyn retired after many years of hard work,  she enjoyed fishing and being near the water. She also donated home cooked meals especially to the homebound after retirement.

Carolyn is survived by her two children, Joseph Zandecki and daughter-in-law, Lana, and daughter, Jenny Kreger-Thayer; mother, Betty Radmaker; two grandchildren, Alisha Pickett and Brandon Zandecki; two sisters, Patti Boyd and Karla Souza; also nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Edward “Stubby” Stubblefield.

Her family thanks Assured Home Health and Hospice and longtime generous neighbors and friends in Napavine.

A celebration of life memorial will be held at St. Josephs Church, Chehalis, Wash., at 11 a.m.,, Thursday, May 4, 2017. Reception to follow at the school hall.
