Bonita (Nyman) Coleman passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Maple Street Manor in Pe Ell, Wash. 

She was a gentle and kind hearted person who enjoyed children, animals, corresponding with her pen pals, antiques and collectables, and working on family history projects. Bonita graduated from W. F. West High School and spent her life as a homemaker. She raised her family in the Centralia, Napavine and Glenoma areas of Lewis County.

Bonita is survived by her daughters, Melody (Marvin) Guenther of Mossyrock, Wash., Sandra (Mike) Pea of Mead, Wash., and Jolene (Curtis) Gibson of Battleground, Wash.;  grandchildren, Chris (Tiffany) Guenther, Leah (Jon) Freeman, Michael (Alicia) Pea, Mathew (Shannon) Pea and Austin (Chelsea) Pea; great-grandchildren, Elias, Isaac, Adele, Katelynn, and Hazel Guenther, Archer, Barrett and Raylan Freeman, Wyatt, Alexa and Jocelyn Pea, and Zachary and Daniel Pea.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Georgia and Knute Nyman; husband of 48 years, Charlie Coleman; first husband, Robert Clark; and granddaughter, Taylor Renea Gibson.

The family would like to thank Janet Shepherd and the caregiving staff of Maple Street Manor in Pe Ell, Wash., for providing such a loving home to Bonita for the past 2 years. Each one of you who cared for our mom was so very special to us. Know that the excellent work you do is so very important and necessary. The care and devotion you demonstrate with your residents has been such a beautiful thing to see during our time with you.  

The family would also like to thank Assured Hospice for their care and support.  Please accept our heartfelt appreciation for the care and compassion you provided to mom and our entire family.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Garden and Claquato Cemetery, Chehalis, with a reception to follow at Alexander Park Shelter #1, Chehalis.
