Bill E. Squires passed away May 3, 2019, at WARMC Medical Center, Bullhead City, Ariz. He was born Jan. 11, 1934, in Tacoma, Wash.

Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, picking huckleberries and blackberries. He loved his garden and spent many hours in it. Billy just liked being out in nature. He enjoyed bowling, spending time at the casino and raising oysters on Puget Sound. Billy worked for the United States Forest Service for 38 years and enjoyed it so much.

He loved his family, friends and his two communities, Randle, Wash., and Laughlin, Nev. Billy and his wife of 62 years, spent the last 25 years wintering in Laughlin.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; sons, David and Steven; sister, Nancy (Lou); brother, Don (Virginia); brother-in-law, Walt Tokarczyk; and many friends. We will miss him so much.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Viola L. Squires; father, William O. Squires; and sisters, Irene Schaler and Shirley Tokarczyk.

At Billy’s request, there will be no service. In his memory, donations can be made to the White Pass Scholarship Fund or to a charity of your choice.

“If I should go tomorrow it would never be goodbye, for I have left my heart with you, so don’t cry. The love that’s deep within me, shall reach you from the stars, you’ll feel it from the heavens and it will heal the scars.”
