It is with great sadness that the family of Beulah J. Rooney, 98, announces her passing after a brief illness, Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; daughter, Patricia; and son, James.
Beulah is survived by her son, Larry; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was born in Spencer, Iowa, and moved to Montevideo, Minn., at age four. Beulah was married to Francis in Minnesota and moved to Tacoma, Wash., in 1944. She was a resident of Lewis County for over 65 years.
A funeral service in memory of Beulah will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia, Wash., followed by a graveside service. The visitation will be prior to the service starting at 9 a.m. A reception will follow Beulah’s services at the Moose Lodge in Centralia, of which Beulah was a member for over 20 years.
