Barbara Blair-Telles passed away peacefully, March 4, 2019. She was born in Toledo to Marguerite and Roy Blair, May 21, 1938.
Barb attended school in Toledo, graduating in 1956. In 1964, while working in Longview, she met the love of her life, Clement “Duff” Telles, a longshoreman. Barb and Duff were inseparable for the next nearly 40 years. Spending their time between Longview and Lihue, Hawaii. Duff sadly passed away in 2003.
Barb was a vibrant soul, who brought a positive outlook to everything and everyone. As family matriarch, oral historian, peacemaker, quilter, super cook and life of the party. She will be missed.
Barb is survived by three brothers, Gary, Larry and Dale Blair; six nieces; and a nephew.
A celebration of life potluck is planned for 11 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the Toledo Senior Center. Everybody is encouraged to dress in Hawaiian or summer clothing. Food and beverages will be served. Please feel free to bring your favorite dish, salad or dessert.
