Ashliey Sofia Campuzano

Ashliey Sofia Campuzano, 20, passed away unexpectedly at her Chehalis home Monday, Sept. 2, 2019.

Ashliey was a very special and sweet young lady who loved reading, drawing, listening to music and singing her favorite songs loud enough for everybody around her to hear! Her favorite shows were High School Musical and The Vampire Diaries.

Ashliey loved her family and her friends, and never knew a stranger, in fact, every time she and her family went out, somebody was bound to know her. Recently, she discovered a new love, the beach. Her favorite beach activity was searching for shells and sand dollars.

Ashliey leaves behind so many people who love her. She was our ray of sunshine and life will never be the same without her. She will be terribly missed by her parents, Jason and Meranda McAuley; sisters, Emeriah, Elizabeth, Abby and Ava; brother, Finn; grandparents, Cliff and Sharma Compton, Jim and Ruth McAuley and Carol McAuley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved her very much.

Ashliey loved school and Adna High School was her favorite place to be. Her family would like to thank the staff and faculty at Adna Middle High School for caring so much about Ashliey and making her life extra special.

A celebration of life will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, in the Adna High School Commons. Refreshments will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Seattle Children’s Hospital or a charity of choice.
