Jill Anne Spahr, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, May 21, 2015. She was born March 18,1943 in Chehalis. Jill is the daughter of Bernard and Pauline Smith and was raised in Doty. She attended school in Pe Ell.
In 1959, Jill married Jack Novak and in 1971, John Spahr. She had many hobbies, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, cooking and being with her family. Gramma Jill was deeply loved and will be missed. She will be remembered for everything she taught us, her sense of humor, her love of children and her faith in God.
Jill is survived by her mother, Pauline Smith; brother, Terry (Kathy) Smith; sister, Cindy (Steve) Murphy all of Chehalis; children, Shari (Don) Watt of Chehalis, Scott (Susan) Novak of La Conner, Dean Novak of Mossyrock, Don "Pack" (Candice) Spahr of Adna; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; father, Bernard; brother, Donny; and niece, Sarah.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Doty-Dryad Cemetery with a gathering to follow at the Doty Fire Hall.
