Andrea Andi Rae Dickey, age 23, died of a tragic car accident on April 8, 2015, in Seattle, Washington.
Andrea is survived by her parents, Connie and Kevin Dickey; brothers, Kyle Dickey Tomes and Jason Dickey; grandparents, Dottie and Ed VonRotz; uncles and aunts, Karri and Don Von Moos, Rhonda and Leroy Sanford, Robert and Cheryl Dickey and Sam Tomes.
Andrea was born on March 4, 1992 in Olympia Washington, to parents Connie and Kevin Dickey. She graduated from Centralia High School in 2010 and was currently attending Centralia College. She was employed by Centralia School District working at Washington Elementary where she made a difference in the lives of children.
Andrea was a loving daughter, sister and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was in a relationship with Tyler Percival who is recovering from the tragic car accident. Andi was that special person that could take a negative and change it into a positive. Her laugh and smile would light up a room the second she walked in.
Andi was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in Girl Scouts, photography and fast pitch for the majority of her life. She enjoyed outdoor activities, dancing and being with the ones she loved. She had a way of making you laugh on even the worst days just to make you feel better. Andi didn’t just become your friend, but became a part of your family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring and loving soul, who touched so many hearts.
Andrea’s celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday April 18, 2015 2:00 p.m. at Centralia High school with a reception to follow. Timothy Gilmore will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate. The family would like to thank friends and family for all the donations and support. Donations for the scholarship can be dropped off in the basket at the ceremony or at Twin Star Credit Union to the Andrea Dickey Memorial Fund.
