Winlock Votes on 2019 Budget

The Winlock City Council held a special meeting Thursday morning and approved the first reading of the 2019 City of Winlock Budget, or Ordinance No. 1070.

According to the current budget, Winlock projects that its beginning fund balance in 2019 will be $1,018,995 total. The city projects the balance at the end of 2019 will be $1,053,920. It projects $6,720,709 in revenue and $6,685,783 in expenditures. 

The city projects it will begin with $235,282 in total general funds and end with $237,313 in 2019.

Water sewer funds are the largest piece of the city’s budget, with $644,134 in the beginning fund balance for 2019 and $646,486 at the end of 2019.



The council previously held a budget hearing at its regular meeting on Monday, Dec. 10. While the first reading of the city of Winlock 2019 budget was on the meeting agenda, the motion to approve the first reading failed.

Winlock City Council is scheduled to meet again at 9 a.m. on Monday for a special meeting.
