Winlock city councilors have scheduled a second round of interviews with three citizens seeking appointment to an open seat.
The council plans to interview Connie Sneed, Tim White and Lindsey Alvord at its Feb. 22 meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Sneed said the three candidates aren’t overly competitive and that they’ll be happy for whoever gets appointed.
“We just want positive things,” White said.
The three candidates, along with two others, were interviewed prior to the council’s Monday meeting.
Council Position 4 was left open when former councilor Sam Patrick resigned after moving out of city limits.
The term for the seat expires in 2017.
