In a 2016 study, Centralia College ranked as the No. 10 college out of 56 institutions in Washington that offer online classes or degree programs.
The analysis was conducted by OnlineColleges.com, a website that provides information about top online colleges and degree programs by featuring school rankings, program guides and career outlooks, according to a press release.
To generate the ranking, the website sourced data from the National Center for Education Statistics to evaluate schools on multiple criteria that included the number of online programs the school offers, the percentage of students studying online, and the average cost of in-state and out-of-state tuition.
The complete list of colleges that ranked top 10 are, from No. 1 to No. 10: Peninsula College, Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College, Highline College, Shoreline Community College, Bellingham Technical College, Bellevue College, North Seattle College, Everett Community College and Centralia College.
