Voters Can Register In-Person Until Election Day at Auditor’s Office

The Lewis County Auditor’s Office is reminding residents that they can register to vote by mail until Oct. 28 and can register the day of the election on Nov. 5 if they go to the Auditor’s Office in person. 

Voters can register in person at the Lewis County Courthouse until 8 p.m. on election day. Updates to a registration can only be processed if a voter has not already turned in their ballot. 

To register in person up until election day, go to the Lewis County Historic Courthouse at 351 NW North Street in Chehalis at 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 



Registration can also be completed at all drivers’ licensing locations when updating or obtaining your drivers’ license, mail-in registration forms are available at all Post Office locations, libraries, school district offices as well as registering online at www.votewa.gov. If the registration application is mailed, it must be received on or before Oct. 28 for changes to be made for this election. Registration applications and updates received by mail or online after the deadline will take effect for the next election.
