Vigils Outside Planned Parenthood in Centralia to End Sunday With Pizza Party

Posted

The 40 Days for Life project is set to end Sunday, March 25. The Centralia group is celebrating the end of the project with a pizza party at Mountain View Baptist Church from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The pizza is free. Tibor Baksy, board director of the 40 Days for Life project, will tell the story of the efforts in Centralia.

“We are tremendously pleased that Tibor will be here to support our 40 Days for Life effort,” said Caroline Bowes, leader of the local 40 Days for Life campaign in Centralia.

“He’s an energetic, enthusiastic speaker, and we know he will be an inspiration.”

The group encourages attendees to bring donations of clothing for baby girls and boys, shampoos, lotions and gear for Possibilities Pregnancy Resource Center.

The 40 Days for Life campaign focused on 40 days of prayer and fasting to end abortion.

There were peaceful vigils at abortion facilities and grassroots educational outreach.

The campaign has caused 14,000 people not to have an abortion and 170 abortion workers to quit, according to the organization.

Ninety-six abortion centers where the vigils have been held have since gone out of business. There were 358 communities worldwide that participated in the campaign from Feb. 14 until March 25.
