UPDATED: Jerry Lord Takes One-Vote Lead Over Incumbent Harris in Chehalis City Council Race

In what is turning out to be a close race, incumbent Chehalis Councilman Terry Harris is now trailing Jerry Lord for the district 1 seat. 

Lord had 147 votes to Harris’ 146 after the second round of votes were counted Wednesday. The next vote count will be released Thursday.

As of Tuesday night’s vote count, Harris was ahead of challenger Jerry Lord by earning with 51.4 percent of the vote compared to his opponent’s total of 46.7 percent, according to Lewis County Auditor’s website. 



Harris had 132 votes to Lord’s 120 Tuesday.

In the other Chehalis Council races, Daryl Lund, Anthony Ketchum and Isaac Pope all ran uncontested in their respective districts.
