The Centralia City Council approved two appointments to the city’s Historic Preservation Commission at its Tuesday night meeting.
Sara Light-Waller and Euteva (Teva) Youngblood were appointed to the commission.
Light-Waller has a bachelor’s degree and master’s in archaeology, has worked in museum collections and is a photo archivist for the United States Geological Survey.
Youngblood was a member of the Mason County Historic Preservation Commission, and has a degree in emergency management, an asset she believes will help historic properties in Centralia that are affected by flooding
