Toledo High School Graduates 3 Valedictorians, 1 Salutatorian

This spring, Toledo High School will honor three valedictorians and one salutatorian at its graduation ceremony. 

Valedictorians include Ivan Cibrian, Matthew Stavig and Krista Tanninen, all of whom have a 4.0 grade point average. 

Salutatorian Julia Davis has a 3.98 GPA.

Cibrian is the son of Rigoberto and Lilian Cibrian of Toledo. He played soccer and basketball while at Toledo High School and was a National Honor Society member for three years. He plans to attend Eastern Washington University and major in biology. 



Stavig is the son of Mike and Terri Stavig of Toledo. He played varsity baseball for four years, basketball for two years, was a National Honor Society member for three years and participated in high school coffee house, Future Business Leaders of America and Toledo Young Life. He plans to go to a community college and study engineering. 

Tanninen is the daughter of Barry and Cindy Tanninen. She was on honor roll while at Toledo High School and got a scholarship from Centralia College. She plans to go to Centralia College’s welding program. 

Davis is the daughter of Jefferson and Theresa Davis of Toledo. She was involved in cheerleading, honor society, was a class officer and participated in the Washington High School Equestrian Team. 

She plans to get an associate’s degree at Centralia College and transfer to a four-year college to study occupational therapy.
