The Lewis County Solid Waste Utility will be holding tire recycling events in the upcoming weeks in Winlock and Mossyrock.
The Winlock recycling will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 8, 9 and 10 at the Old Winlock Solid Waste Drop Box, 1105 Winlock-Vader Road, Winlock.
The event in Mossyrock will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 at the Old Mossyrock Solid Waste Drop Box, 515 Larson Road, Mossyrock.
Passenger and light truck tires will be accepted for free. Tires can be on the rim or off the rim. Do not bring tires from businesses, semi-trucks or heavy equipment. The county is unable to accept them.
