Tools Stolen

• A 61-year-old Vader man reported a burglary that happened between Nov. 12 and Nov. 18 in his shop on the 1600 block of Highway 506 in Vader. Entry appears to have been made from the east side of the shop by cutting wire of a window in a door. A Craftsman standup toolbox, battery charger, wrenches, a motion light and assorted tools valued at $1,185 were reported stolen. Evidence was left at the scene and investigation is ongoing. 

Door Damaged, Nothing Stolen

• Deputies responded on Wednesday to a report of a burglary that occurred on the 100 block of Crescent Beach Drive in Packwood while the homeowner was away between Nov. 10 and Nov. 19. The burglar forced entry by kicking in the door to the house. A search revealed nothing was stolen, but damage is estimated to be $500. The investigation is ongoing. 

 

Centralia Police Department

Domestic Dispute

• Police arrested and booked Steven R. Elder, 23, of Centralia, for fourth-degree assault after he allegedly assaulted his ex-wife during a dispute at 11:46 a.m. on Tuesday on the 100 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia. 

Assault Arrest

• Alfredo A. Lopez Bugher, 19, of Centralia was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend at 3:31 p.m. on Tuesday on the 3200 block of Fords Prairie Avenue in Centralia.

Schedule Stolen

• A victim reported the theft of a day planner on the 200 block of Centralia College Boulevard in Centralia at 4:36 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Trafficking Electronics

• Police arrested and booked Darren G. Waggoner, 33, of Centralia, and his girlfriend, Jamie R. Wiscarson, 35, of Centralia, on the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue in Centralia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waggoner is facing charges of burglary, retail theft and trafficking stolen property. Wiscarson is facing charges as his accomplice. Waggoner allegedly stole electronics from a store, fled out the emergency exit and then sold the items to other residents in the trailer park where he lives.

Gang Sprays Fences

• Multiple fences and garages were tagged with gang graffiti Tuesday night on the 500 block of South Rock Street in Centralia.

Candy Thief

• Police referred a 14-year-old boy to juvenile court for allegedly shoplifting candy on the 600 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia at 6:01 p.m. on Wednesday.
