Centralia Police Department 

Tires Slashed, Paint Scratched

• A victim reported someone slashed the tires and scratched the paint on a vehicle at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Pear Street at 1:16 p.m. Friday. A possible suspect was mentioned by the victim. 

DUI

• Police arrested and booked Harold A. Moran, 54, of Centralia, for suspicion of driving under the influence at 1:52 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue in Centralia.

Stolen House Plant

• A dead house plant was reported stolen from the front porch of a home in the 200 block of North King Street in Centralia at 1:51 p.m. Saturday.

Robbery, Domestic Violence

• Edward K Gonzalez, 21, of Centralia was arrested and booked for investigation of second-degree robbery, domestic violence, in the 100 block of West Plum Street in Centralia at 2:05 p.m. Saturday. 

Trying to be Tricky

• A business in the 100 block of North Tower Avenue in Centralia reported receiving a $5 bill that was altered to look like a $100 bill at 3:56 p.m. Saturday.

Officers Assaulted

• Police arrested and booked Ernesto Monrroy-Hernandez, 37, of Centralia, on two counts of third-degree assault after he assaulted two officers who were trying to take him into custody. The incident happened in the 600 block of Jefferson Street in Centralia at 7:08 p.m. on Saturday. 

Domestic Violence Arrest

• Leandrew K. Thomas, 37, of Centralia was arrested and booked for investigation of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, in the 500 block of East Main Street in Centralia at 10:09 p.m. Saturday.

 

Lewis County Sheriff’s Office

Trespassing in Boistfort

• Deputies cited and booked Sean M. Flynn, 52, of Boistfort, for suspicion of second-degree criminal trespassing. Flynn was allegedly trespassing at a store in the 1300 block of Boistfort Road at 3 p.m. Saturday. He denied trespassing, but told deputies he asked customers of the store to buy him cigarettes. 

Guardrail Damaged

• The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a malicious mischief incident in the 300 block of Centralia-Alpha Road in Centralia. At 10:54 p.m. on Friday deputies began investigating 126 feet of guardrail and 15 posts that had been removed from the roadside and left in the middle of the roadway. There is no evidence to suggest a collision. Based on the extent and force required to cause the damage, law enforcement believes the destruction was intentional. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office or Crime Stoppers.

 

Chehalis Police Department

Jewelry and Guns Stolen

• Police responded to a report of more than $200,000 worth of items, including jewelry and guns, stolen from a home in the 200 block of Southwest Lewis Street in Chehalis. The second-degree burglary was reported at 5:27 p.m. Saturday and occurred a few days prior, according to a police report.
