Sirens: Swearing at a Judge; Stolen Vehicles Recovered; Bowling Balls Stolen

Centralia Police Department

Contempt of Court

• Brandon A. Young, 47, Centralia, was arrested for contempt of court after he swore at a judge and became irate during court proceedings at about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday. 

Trespass

• Michael A. Kellogg, a transient, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing on the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at about 8:41 p.m. Wednesday.

Recovered Stolen Vehicles

• A stolen Dodge truck was found abandoned near the intersection of Walnut Street and Silver Street at about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday. 

• A Cadillac reported stolen Tuesday was recovered in a parking lot on the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday. 

Theft

• A ladder was reported stolen during the night on the 800 block of J Street at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday. 

• Two bowling balls were reported stolen out of a car sometime during the night on the 700 block of North Washington Avenue at about 10:51 a.m. Wednesday.

• A yellow and pink bike was reported stolen from the 500 block of North Tower Avenue at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday. There is a suspect but and the case is under investigation. 

Burglary

• A burglary was reported at a garage on the 800 block of West Pear Street. Several items were stolen, including a bike. It was reported at about 10:13 p.m. Wednesday. 

 

Chehalis Police Department

Theft

• Jayson S. Spain, 27, Centralia, and Chelsey M. Choate, 26, Centralia, were both cited and released for third-degree theft. They allegedly shoplifted merchandise worth $55.79 from a business on the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 10:10 p.m. Tuesday. 

 

Lewis County Sheriff's Office

Burglary

• Kevin C. Anderson, 36, a transient, was arrested and booked into Lewis County Jail Tuesday for residential burglary and is being referred for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief domestic violence. At about 6 a.m. Monday Anderson allegedly climbed through his ex-girlfriend’s unlocked bedroom window on the 200 block of Labree Road, made threats against the homeowner then left and slashed two tires on the victim’s car.
